Brothers and sisters, it is with great honor and privilege that I present to you the Christmas elephant in pink. This is probably one of the best Christmas beers, Delirium from Brouwerij Huyghe, known for its pink elephant on top of the bottle, distinguished by the cork closure, similar to a champagne bottle.
It’s a 70 cl bottle, containing a beer in chestnut amber with a fine, white, creamy, and lacing foam. This complex brew combines caramel malt, fruit, spices, and sweetness, resulting in a very spicy and slightly bitter experience.
Like the night in the shadows of darkness, we don’t see tomorrow. So, we close our eyes and listen, to see the white light, the light by the holy place.
Today is a gift, fading the darkness away for all of us; now our kingdom is here. It’s the voice that speaks within us, calling to us all when the light comes on Christmas Day.
I am attending with company at the annual reception hosted by the Governor of West Sweden at Torstenson Palace, the official residence in Gothenburg.
The Governor, known as the ‘Landshövding,’ is the head of the county administrative board in Västra Götaland County. Torstenson Palace, also referred to as ‘Kungshuset’ or ‘the King’s House,’ was formerly the residence of the Swedish king in Gothenburg.
I create content and develop businesses, and I’m also involved in governing companies at the board level. My assignments focus on presenting the sender in a confident and creative manner. In these endeavors, I represent myself with a charismatic style.
The winter season calls for the impeccably tailored suits by Oscar Jacobson, crafted from a heavier fabric ideal for cooler weather. Today’s standout is a membership tie, adorned with a traditional tartan pattern and a symbol marking its establishment in 1769, reflecting its rich Scottish heritage. Complementing this is my signature pink shirt, a personal trademark that adds a touch of individuality to the classic ensemble.
As the host of the upcoming business meetings, I will be presenting this week’s selected cookie, accompanied by espresso.
In 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. King delivered his iconic speech, beginning with:
“…and the Almighty said to me, ‘Martin Luther King, in which age would you like to live?’” Dr. King then made a mental journey toward the promised land, reflecting on the magnificence of civilizations. Like Dr. King, I am a believer in the civilizations that have shaped us. So today, as I attempt to be a baker, I turn to Western civilization and the remarkable Napoleon.
I’m making a traditional Danish cookie shaped like Napoleon’s Hat, known as ‘Napoleonshatte.’ However, I must honestly admit that they lose their shape in the oven, much like hats lose their form in autumn rain or just after the battle of Waterloo; my cookies, like Napoleon’s hat, struggle to hold their shape.
