Parks, hotels, and palaces; promenades and avenues — Europe is endless.
In Budapest, we sit in a late-night café.
The café invites guests on a journey back to the 1930s, when the Astoria, with its marble coverings, fancy carpets, glittering mirrors, and lead-glass windows, was in its glory as the grand hotel.
Ready in our urban style, we’re set to take the M2 line from Astoria station for a board workshop, energized by the diverse cultural scene that sparks new ideas, in the cosmopolitan, vibrant capital of Hungary, Budapest.
I am planning to attend the annual meeting at a foundation, following an invitation from the bishop, as I am the chairman of a cooperating foundation. Additionally, I am expressing my interest in joining the board in the future, as I am actively seeking to expand my board assignments.
My attire, featuring shades of blue and brown with a tie accented by legendary pink dots, reflects my unique personality and professional acumen.
In the midst of page breaks while producing annual reports and writing documents for notices of general meetings, I raise my eyes from the screen and move away from the keyboard. Looking out the office window, I observe the sun's light dancing and almost sense a breeze from the sea at the end of the street. I tell myself, "Hurry, boy, it's waiting for you outside - my kettlebells for the lunch break."
I am the new chairman of the Foundation and Friends of the Gothenburg City Museum, whose main task is to support and protect this museum housed in the 1750s Ostindiska huset, which boasts one of Sweden’s largest cultural history collections, including the very first Volvo cars made in the summer of 1926.
I am ready to take on new assignments in board of directors roles and look forward to continuing to present applications at personal meetings with nominating committees, like the one I had today.
With nearly 15 years of experience serving on the boards of various companies across multiple industries, from those listed on the stock exchange to owner-led firms and growing enterprises, I bring a wealth of knowledge and an extensive network. My role as an active board member has encompassed a broad spectrum of activities, including capital raising, IPOs, issuing new shares, and overseeing mergers and acquisitions.
As I seek new board positions, I am enthusiastic about contributing as an active member, leveraging my significant business acumen and deep business intelligence to drive business development.
