Passalacqua Mehari, one of Naples’ most iconic espresso blends

My Smeg espresso machine is now loaded with Passalacqua Mehari, one of Naples’ most iconic espresso blends. Rich, full-bodied and beautifully balanced, it delivers the deep chocolate notes, roasted nuts and lingering finish that define true Neapolitan coffee culture.

Passalacqua has been roasting coffee in Naples since 1948, and Mehari captures everything I love about a southern Italian espresso.

Closer to Naples, without actually being there, is probably impossible.

Caffè Perù Espresso Italian Blend is a traditional Italian espresso coffee produced by the Circi roastery, a family-owned company with roots dating back to 1928. Roasted and packed in Modica, Sicily, this blend reflects the classic Italian coffee culture that prioritizes balance, body, crema, and consistency.

The blend consists of approximately 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta beans, creating a smooth yet full-bodied espresso with rich crema and a pleasant intensity.
