Today, I am incorporating pink into my business dress code. In business attire, the color pink can serve as a departure from more traditional colors like black, navy, and gray. Pink is often worn to add a touch of personality and warmth to a professional outfit. I am using the color to project approachability, open-mindedness, and creativity. I’m also inspired by how the always well-dressed British business community and society often use pink in their color combinations.

However, the appropriateness of wearing pink can vary depending on the industry and the occasion. In certain fields like diplomacy and fellowship programs, I tend to avoid pink.

Today’s pick is a dark blue tie, adorned with a member’s crest and the resonant message “Concordia Crescimus.” This sentiment, “Together We Grow,” aligns with the vision I’ve set for the imminent business meeting. When complemented with a checkered shirt and a sharply tailored jacket, it signifies not just my commitment to a high-level business style, but also a reflection of my unique personality.

It’s an opportune moment to coach the management team in our workshop, guiding them to adeptly present their business to prospective owners and partners, emphasizing value in a polished presentation format.

Balancing High-Stakes Corporate Management with a Commitment to Fitness: My Journey in the Second Quarter

Welcome to my secret garden. I’ve had the opportunity to utilize a private garden in my office - my sanctuary for staying fit.

The second quarter is always busy in my line of business. As a service provider to public companies, they are obligated to report to the market quarterly and annually, typically producing two types of reports in the second quarter. Annual meetings often fall within this period. I’m in a position to manage and communicate these projects. However, this second quarter has also been laden with assignments and special tasks such as new share issuances, mergers and acquisitions, strategic board workshops, and coaching within growth companies, among others.

Consequently, my usual exercise regimen and training have had to take a backseat amidst these custom-made projects. Now, I am back on track to adhere to a 10-week exercise agenda. I’ve successfully completed two weeks, both in my secret garden and in my surrounding area.

I believe, or rather know, that art significantly influences how successful business operations develop and continue. Ending a strategy day with marks of art is just the beginning of a creative end for that particular strategy day. It's primarily the start of innovative business development for shareholder value within the management team and board work. Powered by art

-If you look around, the world is lovely, reflected by the art of David Hockney, one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century.

My favourite work by Hockney is from Los Angeles, where he was inspired to create a series of paintings of swimming pools in the relatively new acrylic medium. It's incredible scenarios from a perspective of colours with a thought-provoking set-up in the pop art style.
